Planned Parenthood:(

Well I made it back! I didn't get arrested.

As some of you know I went to PP today with a friend to pray. The church I'm visiting had people signed up from about 6:30am to 6:30pm. When we got there we decided to walk around the building instead of standing in one place the whole time, so we did, approximately 30 times around in a two hour time slot. We just walked and prayed.

I am very glad to have been able to do it, actually being there is so different then just hearing about it. I had never even seen a PP place before, so it was a little bit of an eye opener. Every time we rounded the corner there was a new client going in or out, and always being escorted by a volunteer (guarding them from Pro-lifers with the Truth).

As we walked up to PP a volunteer asked us if we were coming to PP my friend said yes (that is true we were going to PP:), then she (the volunteer) started to escort us through the side gate so as to avoid the side walk counselor up front, so my friend said that we were coming to pray.

As we walked past some trees on one side, I could hear the birds chirping. And I thought if someone saw a broken bird egg on the ground they would be saddened ; But they don't give abortion a thought. Oh, for the Lord's return.

Today the Lord reminded me again of His blessing to us, the blessing of little ones.
Thank You again to those who were praying for me.
Praising The Lord for His Son,
Marci

Our Great High Priest...

can "...save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25)

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:14-16

Household Tip

When you juice a lemon instead of throwing away the rind, use it.

Cut the rind into a couple of pieces and use them in your garbage disposal to freshen it.

Now some of you probably already have done that; but here's the new thing we've done.

Cut the rind into smaller pieces (one half a lemon into about 1/3's or 1/4's), then freeze them for future use.

And when the sink needs a freshening boost take out a couple pieces from the freezer. No thawing needed, that's one reason for the small pieces(the other reason is not to give your disposal too hard of a time).

Anyway just thought I'd share that. Also here's a comic I think from the 50's, kinda interesting.

It's so easy to clean house today in the 2000's isn't it:)

Remembering...

September 11, the day 8 years ago that we were attacked on our soil for the first time since Pearl Harbor. Apx. 3,000 people died as result of those attacks.

I heard a lady talking the other day, she was saying that she had talked to some school age children who had never heard of 9/11 they had no knowledge of what had happened. No one had told them, their parents nor their teachers, I find that very sad. We lost 343 firefighters that day
