September 11, the day 8 years ago that we were attacked on our soil for the first time since Pearl Harbor. Apx. 3,000 people died as result of those attacks.I heard a lady talking the other day, she was saying that she had talked to some school age children who had never heard of 9/11 they had no knowledge of what had happened. No one had told them, their parents nor their teachers, I find that very sad.
We lost 343 firefighters that day
